WebP to JPG Converter
WebP photos into JPGs that open in any program, mail client or form. Set the quality, or a maximum size in KB when an upload has a limit. If a WebP has transparent areas, you choose the colour they become, because JPG cannot hold transparency. Nothing is uploaded and there is no file limit of ours.

Camera details, the date taken and location data are kept when the new format can hold them (JPG, PNG, WebP), exactly as the original had them. Want to see or remove it? Remove EXIF and metadata shows everything a photo carries and strips it losslessly.

About webp to jpg converter
What this page does differently
- Transparent WebP: the report warns before converting, and the background colour picker appears so see-through areas are not silently black.
- A size limit in KB is honoured exactly (quality is searched, never guessed), useful for forms and portals.
- Animated WebP is detected and named; the JPG keeps the first frame, and the report says so.
JPG or PNG for my WebP?
JPG for photos: small files, no transparency. PNG for logos, screenshots and anything transparent: bigger files, pixel-exact.
What quality should I use?
Auto picks 85, which is visually identical for most photos. Below 70 artefacts start to show in smooth areas. For a strict upload limit, tick Keep each file under and enter the KB; the converter finds the highest quality that fits.
Are my camera details kept?
WebP files rarely carry EXIF, but when one does, the date and camera details move into the JPG.
Limits and privacy
No caps of ours: no file-size limit, no daily count, no account, no watermark, no queue. The only limit is what your device can draw; the line under "Before converting" states it. Files never leave your device: this page makes no network request with your images and keeps working offline once loaded. It reads JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, ICO and SVG in every browser; HEIC in Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Outputs are JPG, PNG, WebP and multi-size ICO. Free for personal and commercial use; convert only images you own or may modify.
