Tools that run entirely in your browser

The image converter, image resizer, metadata viewer and remover, QR code generators, keyboard, mouse and controller testers, the reaction time test and the dead pixel test process everything on your device. The dead pixel test loads no analytics; its "Detect my monitor" button asks your browser for the monitor's name only when you press it, and the answer stays on your device. Your files, photos, key presses, clicks, controller input and test results are not uploaded to us or anyone else.

Some of these tools remember small things on your device using your browser's local storage, such as a chosen layout or your earlier reaction-test results. That stays on your device and you can clear it at any time, either with the tool's own "clear" button or by clearing site data in your browser.

Microphone test

The mic test and the OBS noise gate settings page ask for microphone access when you press Start, and only then. The audio is analysed on your device and is never uploaded or recorded to a server. These two pages also carry no analytics at all, so they make no network request after they load. The short recording you can play back or save as a WAV file exists only in your browser's memory and is gone when you leave the page.

Tools that look something up

The username and profile checkers (WoW character names, Steam custom URLs and profiles, Twitch usernames, Minecraft usernames and UUIDs) send the names or IDs you type to our server so it can ask the official public service (for example Blizzard, Steam, Twitch or Mojang) whether they are taken. We use what you enter only to run that check. Results may be cached briefly so we don't overload those services.

Steam profile lookup: each lookup keeps a small snapshot of the public Steam profile that was searched (such as name, custom URL, avatar, level, visibility and public friend and group IDs), so a later lookup can show what changed. Nothing is crawled; a profile is stored only because someone searched for it. If it's your account, you can sign in through Steam on that page to delete everything stored about it and block future storage. Steam only tells us which SteamID you own.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, see which pages are used, and check page speed. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. It does not see the contents of anything you put into our tools.

Our site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising

To keep the tools free, we may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are never placed inside a tool or over a test.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Where the law requires your consent for advertising cookies (for example in the UK and EU), you will be asked before they are used.

Downloads

Files you save from our tools (converted images, reports, test results) are created on your device and only go where you send them. The MW2 Host Blocker download is served from our own download host.
