Batch Image Converter
Built for many files, not one at a time. Drop folders, keep their structure in the ZIP, mix formats freely, set one output for all (or Best for each), name the files with a pattern, and see every file's result and reason if one fails. It runs on your device with several files in parallel on a computer and one at a time on a phone, and nothing is uploaded.

Tokens: {name} original name · {n} number ({n:3} zero-padded) · {w} {h} pixels · {date} photo date · the extension is added for you. Example:
Camera details, the date taken and location data are kept when the new format can hold them (JPG, PNG, WebP), exactly as the original had them. Want to see or remove it? Remove EXIF and metadata shows everything a photo carries and strips it losslessly.

About batch image converter
What this page does differently
- Folder intake with structure kept: drop a folder or choose one, and the ZIP mirrors it.
- Name patterns with numbering, size and date tokens, and collisions resolved before anything runs, so nothing is overwritten silently.
- Per-file outcome: each row shows its result or its failure reason and a fix; retry only the failed ones; identical duplicates are converted once.
How many files can I convert?
There is no count limit from us. Memory is the limit: results are held in the browser until you download, so batches of a few hundred photos are fine on a computer; on a phone, do a few dozen at a time.
Can each file have its own format?
Choose Best for each: PNG for graphics and transparent images, JPG for photos. Same format keeps each file's own type.
What happens if one file fails?
The rest continue. The failed row shows the cause and a suggested fix, and Retry failed reruns only those.
Is there a size limit per file?
Only your device's: the line under Before converting says how many megapixels it can draw. Larger images are converted as smaller copies with a note.
Limits and privacy
No caps of ours: no file-size limit, no daily count, no account, no watermark, no queue. The only limit is what your device can draw; the line under "Before converting" states it. Files never leave your device: this page makes no network request with your images and keeps working offline once loaded. It reads JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, ICO and SVG in every browser; HEIC in Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Outputs are JPG, PNG, WebP and multi-size ICO. Free for personal and commercial use; convert only images you own or may modify.
