Device Tests

Check a keyboard, mouse or game controller in your browser. Each test ends with a plain summary of what works, what looks faulty and what a browser simply cannot test, which you can copy or save and compare against a second computer. Everything runs on this page; nothing you press is uploaded.

Keyboard tester

Every key by physical position, double typing (chatter), stuck keys, key combinations and layout-setting mix-ups.

Mouse tester

Every button including the side buttons, unintended double-clicks, drags that let go, scroll-wheel skipping and the event rate your browser receives.

Controller tester

Buttons, trigger travel, stick drift with a suggested deadzone, drift that comes and goes, stick range and vibration.

Dead pixel test

Black, white, red, green, blue and grey fill the screen; mark what you see, re-check it on every colour, and get a report with the maker's published pixel policy. Full screen on iPhone too.

Reaction time test

Five timed presses, your median in whole milliseconds, every trial shown, and a plain account of what your screen and mouse add. Nothing subtracted.

CPS test (click speed)

Clicks per second over 1 to 60 seconds, your best single second, and two honest flags: switch bounce counting double, and machine-regular intervals.

Spacebar clicker

Count spacebar presses over 1 to 60 seconds with your best second, and find out whether the key registers twice (chatter) or the intervals look like a macro.

Microphone test

Does it work, how loud are you, how noisy is the room, and what to do about it: OBS noise gate settings measured from your own voice, hum and Bluetooth checks, honest playback.
