Sharpen Image
A slightly soft photo gets crisper edges with the Sharpen slider; hold the compare button to check you have not gone too far. This is classic unsharp masking at full resolution, not AI invention. Nothing leaves your device.

About sharpen image
What this page does
- Unsharp mask with a 0–100 amount; starts at 40, a sensible default for a slightly soft photo.
- Hold to compare against the original at any time.
- Combine with brightness, contrast and saturation in the same tab.
- Honest: sharpening cannot recover focus or motion blur; it increases edge contrast. Heavy settings add halos and noise.
Will this fix a blurry photo?
A little softness, yes. Out-of-focus or motion-blurred photos cannot be fixed by sharpening; the detail is not there to recover.
Why does my sharpened JPG look noisy?
Sharpening amplifies JPG compression artefacts along with real edges. Use a lower amount, and save at high quality or as PNG.
Everything else the editor can do
This page opens the editor on one job. The other tabs are still there: crop and straighten, rotate and flip, blur or pixelate, adjust light and colour, round corners and borders, then export as JPG, PNG or WebP under a size limit, checked on the saved bytes. Everything is rendered from the original pixels and nothing is uploaded; load the page, go offline, it still works. Only edit images you own or may modify.
