EXIF Viewer

Everything a photo says about itself, in plain language first and raw tags underneath: where and when it was taken, on what, by whom, what software touched it, whether a second thumbnail image or an AI prompt is hiding inside, and what is appended after the picture. Drop many files to compare them. Export the lot as JSON or CSV. Nothing is uploaded, and the location is shown on an offline map.

      About exif viewer

      What this page does differently

      Which formats can it read?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF, TIFF and camera RAW files that use TIFF structure (DNG, NEF, CR2, ARW and similar). MakerNotes are listed with their size and maker but not decoded field by field.

Why does my phone photo show no location here?

iPhone and Android photo pickers can strip GPS before a web page sees the file, depending on your settings. The file in your camera roll may still have it. Share the photo to Files first, or check on a computer.

      Can I see AI prompts?

Yes. PNG images from Stable Diffusion (Automatic1111, Forge), ComfyUI, InvokeAI and NovelAI carry their prompts and settings in text chunks; they are parsed and shown. Content Credentials (C2PA) markers are detected and named.

Can I remove or edit what I see?

Removing is one click away: the same page cleans files with a chosen rule and proves the result. Editing dates and GPS is planned.

      Limits and privacy

No caps of ours: no file-size limit, no daily count, no account, no watermark. Files never leave your device; the page makes no network request with your images and keeps working offline once loaded. Removal is lossless: metadata blocks are cut out, the picture is never re-encoded, orientation and the colour profile are kept, and the output is read back to prove what is left. Only remove creator and copyright information from images you own or may modify.
