How to find your Steam ID

Open your profile in Steam or at steamcommunity.com and copy the address from the browser bar.
Paste it above. If the link has your custom name (/id/yourname), the page looks up the number for you.
Copy the format you need.

Which format is which

SteamID64 is the 17-digit number starting 7656119. Websites and profile links use it.
SteamID2 looks like STEAM_0:1:12345. Source engine games (CS, TF2, Garry's Mod) and server admin files use it.
SteamID3 looks like [U:1:24691].
Account ID / friend code is the 32-bit number inside the others. Steam's add-friend page uses it.

Converting between formats happens in your browser. Only a custom URL name needs a lookup, which asks Steam's public API and stores nothing.
