QR Code Scanner
Read a QR code from a picture, a screenshot or your camera. You see what the code says, and where a link really goes, before anything opens. Nothing is uploaded.
or drop images anywhere on the page, or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V. One picture can hold several codes.
About this QR scanner
- Scan a QR code on your own screen. Take a screenshot, then paste it here with Ctrl+V. That is the case a phone camera can't help with.
- See the link before you open it. The real site name is shown large, with a plain warning when the address is unencrypted, hidden behind a link shortener, a bare number, or written to imitate another name. No warning doesn't mean a site is safe: only open codes you expected.
- More than links. Wi-Fi codes show the network name and password, contact cards show the name and number, and plain text is shown as it is.
- Nothing is uploaded. The picture is read on your device. Camera frames never leave the page.
- QR codes only. Barcodes on products are a different kind of code and aren't read here.
